Children’s Health, Parent-Child Activities, Using Digital Devices, and Social Competence: Serial Mediation

Background: Studies have pointed out the influence of different children’s activities and prolonged use digital products on their social development. However, whether parent-child using devices were serial mediators relationship between health development needs further verification. Purpose: This study explored how competence. Method: used data from Kids in Taiwan: National Longitudinal Study Child Development Care. A total sample 2164 participants was this study. Serial mediation analyses performed model six Hayes’ PROCESS (2012). Results: found that can serially mediate Children’s could directly improve competence, but it also competence by increasing reducing devices.
